JANUARY 2010

Midgard are pleased to announce that they have completed detailed negotiation and have signed a contract for the delivery of 445 apartments, Office and retail space on the Guildford Road, Woking development for Barratt Southern.

The project is due to start on site within the next few weeks with delivery of apartments to Barratt as a series of stage handovers commencing in August 2011.

FEBRUARY 2010

Midgard are pleased to announce that they have secured a project in Bedford for the delivery of 101 one and two bedroom apartments within the existing structure of the redundant Bedford BT Tower office block.

The development for the Birmingham Properties group includes the complete fit out of M&E services, internal finishes, new core areas, lifts, roof finishes and the installation of new windows.

The project team has commenced on site with handover of the development planned for February 2010.

JUNE 2009

Midgard are now registered with BSi and are working towards accredidation in four discplines ISO 9001 (QA), ISO 14001 (EMS), OHSAS 18001 (H&S) and PAS99 (fully integrated).

Midgard is now registered with Constructionline the goverment registered Contractors Approved List

Midgard is the main contracting division of J Reddington Limited, and utilises all the company's in-house resources and facilities to provide clients with an integrated service to meet a wide range of construction needs.

Midgard is focused on designing and building new facilities for the business, leisure, educational and home environment. Together with our clients we are finding innovative and sustainable ways to improve the building process.

Alongside this, it has always been our intention to expand our business to provide our clients with complete delivery solutions for their construction projects. This enables us to provide both a leaner management team and savings over our competitors, who need to add their running costs to subcontract packages that we are able to carry out in-house.

This includes everything from preliminary design and demolition, to piling design and installation, to the design and installation of the concrete structure, to the installation of the facade. Where resources are not in-house we use the services of key specialist partner trade contractors to carry out the works directly under the control of our site staff, thus ensuring the quality and productivity required for the project.

Midgard and the J Reddington Group offer a "one-stop-shop" for construction of projects from site possession through to fit out or turnkey.
